The SHOW, NEW listings and NEW bead design!

Hello Friends!

OMG! I can't believe it's Thursday already! We are leaving for tomorrow. So just incase you forgot...

Next I have today's listings for you. I have some etched emo skull beads and a button clasp in violet!
Here is a sweet little 2 bead set. You could use these 3 beads to do a bracelet type thing with the beads in the front and some silver noodles on the side and beads on the back or you could do a necklace with the skull cube as the focal point and make earrings out of the 2 purple bumpy beads.

If you are feeling extra saucy you could even get this button and use it as the clasp ;) Maybe it would even be fun with some of those felty balls that are floating around in the bead world at the moment ;)

If you are diggin on the button clasps be sure to check out my other button clasps on Etsy while you are shopping. It's super fun to add a pretty lampwork clasp to a lampwork piece of jewelry.

I have a design in the mix, but I need to collect some more leaves for it before making the bracelet. I have some pretty pastel flat daisies with spotty spacers and a daisy peace button for the clasp. It is going to totally rock my sox when I get it done ;)

Oh and last, but not least I have that bead picture for you from the beads I made yesterday. Introducing a spin on my Rainbow Ruffle Ribbon Hearts. Meet "Funfetti Ruffle Ribbon Hearts!"

These little beauties have a transparent core with a colored spiral around the center and funfetti polkadots on the surface. These hears are SO awesome in person. The thick layer of clear makes them SO shiny and reflective. The ruffly ribbons have so much depth too! If you view them from the side you can see all of the colors wave together. SO COOL! If I don't sell out you can expect to see a few in my shop after my return :D

Well as always, I must be off! I want to make a few more Florbitals and After Dark Ruffle Ribbon hearts for the show.

Wacky Wheelies and show madness

Hello Friends!

I have some bright wheelie listings for you today! First off I have my Candy Sprocket Wheelies pendant. Full of swirls and magic. Super bright for all of you color lovers out there :DIsn't it bright and cheery? :D I love swirlies and polkadots!

Next I have a Wishing Wheel set called ZAP! It is super BRIGHT! I would really like to see what people make with these sets. You can see above how I worked one similar into a pendant.

I don't have too much else to report. I did work on some more of my Rainbow Ruffle Ribbon hearts. This time I added some transparents and polkadots. I think this new round is going to be called "Funfetti Ruffle Ribbon Hearts". Yeah, the title is long, but it's WAY fun :D I will get you a pic of those tomorrow.

The show is fast approaching. I have just made an offer on my Genea Beads page on Face book for people attending the show. If you come to the show and mention my Face book offer I will give you a $10 gift card for Genea Beads(I will be at the Bead Boutique booth)! I hope to see you there!

Gloomy is GREAT :D

Hello friends!

Today I have 2 non matching items today.

My first favorite is this cute little Emo skull set, but instead of being my normal 3-d skulls these are a lentil style that can be worn perfectly on a bracelet! In the center is a sad little broken heart :( Awwww... Sometime's love sucks huh? ;)

Next I have a fun little set of my Trapeze earrings. These are some wonderful streaky purple bullseye spacers that swing on teeny tiny sterling chain. They are so dainty and sweet :D

I don't have too much to update today. Still getting ready for the show. It is nice and gloomy today. We are having some wonderful thunderstorms this afternoon. Infact it is SO dark you would think it was like 8pm! Very strange. I guess this is an extra coffee day to not feel sleepy:D I always love rainy days. I feel nice and inspired :D

This weekend ALREADY?!

Hello Friends!

First I will show you the listings since I wrote a novel today! So just incase you just want to see the new goodies you can view those first and then read on if you like ;)

First off I have "Fuchsia Flashes"- these are SO beautiful! They are hot pink with hints of lavender and lime green dot accents. The color is just so saturated and intense! Lentils are also super comfortable to wear!

Next I have an old classic. My Mod Pods!

I have had nothing but compliments on the color combo of brown, avocado green and light blue! The bods are stacked with many, many dots and then raked for texture! Super cool!

Wow do you believe the show is THIS WEEKEND! Eep! I have been busily preparing for it and will continue to do so this whole week until Melissa and I leave on Friday! Incase you want to see what I have been doing.. here are some pictures!

Here are all of the new tags I made for my beads! Gotta have 'em for all of those new beads that are going to the show!

I had a little fun making Melissa and myself special name tag cards pimping out Bead Boutique and Genea Beads :D Here is Melissa's with Bead Boutique pimping on top and orange text, of course, since it's her fav color :D

After printing 100 of the last card images I thought maybe it would be cooler to have the NEWEST bead designs I have made on the new cards. Above is the image that appears on the card in it's full size image! Don't the beads look AMAZING?! I was SO excited with how well the pic turned out :D

My friend Jennie that has some great marketing skills told me the web and phone should be in black so it pops. Well she was right! It really does jump off the card doesn't it?

Ricky had this fantastic challenge to spend $10 at Target and get something to decorate our house that would make us happy. Look what we got!

I took a pic of the receipt under it so you could verify the price, but the pic is too small to read! The lamp was on sale for like $5.50 and the rug was $3.50 on sale! Sweet huh?!
Here you can see the lamp in it's new home on my bead desk :D Doesn't it look happy with all of it's other lime green friends? :D:D:D

Did you know your beadmaker was FAMOUS?

Hello Friends!

Did you know your bead girl was FAMOUS? Wow what a morning! I was up, showered and at the store by 9am for Bead Boutique's commercial shoot! I think that is a first in about a year! Lol. The shoot went really well. You will see your friendliest local bead shop with some of the Andrea, Melissa, some of the bead girls and yours truly! They took some shots of the store and of all of us working on a project. I even got to work on a design with my beads for the shoot! Score! Thanks for the extra promotion, Andrea! I made sure to wear some super fabulous jewelry and be my usual colorful self with grins from ear to ear :D I am not exactly sure when the commercial will air, but I will post and let you all know asap!

Next I have my Etsy offerings for today! I am SO excited to offer my second set of Happy Candy beads on Etsy! This luscious set is full of texture and COLOR! I has a little bit of everything in it as well. It even has a teeny button clasp! Just add a few beads and you will have a FABULOUS bracelet.... or whatever creation you decide to make with them!


Next I have another pair of tangled vine earrings. I named them "satsuma" after the fantastic soap they sell at the body shop! If you have not smelled it, I urge you to go take a whiff!
These are really fantastic. They make me think of really hot weather. They are another fabulous odd lot in a hue of coral with RED swirls and cording with hot orange leaves. What a scortcher!

Ricky and I were trying to figure out the best most cost effective way to get some new cards printed for me for the show. It was going to be $4 to get the dell refilled at the ink store. WHAT?! $40 for the refill???!! We decided that it would just be cheaper to get a new HP printer at Walmart where they stock the cartridges as well. It was only $32 for my new printer. The bummer? It came with a color cartridge, but you needed to buy a black one and a printer USB cord! It was another $20 for the black ink and $10 for the USB cord on sale. So... yeah it was a little bit more expensive that we thought.

I also went out to get more sticker paper for my GB bag and box labels. OMG! Office Depot was the only place that had them and they were $10 for 5 sheets! Can we say highway robbery? After opening the box I realized that the sticker paper was high gloss. They printed out BEAUTIFULLY! No wonder they were so expensive! So that made me pretty happy and less frustrated about the price tag ;)

Daily grind, listings, and new facebook page!

Hello Friends!

I know! I'm late! I was kind of groggy this morning when I woke up. I let the dogs out and then stumbled back to my bed and layed down for a few minutes. I probably layed in bed for about another 15 mins before getting up for good. It was one of those things where I got back into bed and since I was somewhat coherent my brain started on overdrive of the days tasks.. ugh..

So I got up and just a few minutes after I was up and moving I heard a knock at the door and was super excited to meet the mailman with my mail and my shipment of beads back from Funky Hannah's along with a check :D I also got my check from Meant to Bead so that was super cool too. It is always like Christmas when I get my beads back from a store. I get out my cup of coffee and excitedly open each carefully wrapped grouping of beads.

After I got this done I poured what was left of my cup of coffee into my travel mug and ran off to Bead Boutique to drop off a cupcake order. Beads of course! ;) I sat up at the shop and talked with Lauri for a bit and cut my tissue paper with their paper cutter. Man I LOVE PAPER CUTTERS. I know, I am weird, but it's totally fun! It's way better than using scissors! I guess it's like chopping therapy lol

I ordered some yummy Chinese from our favorite local Chinese restaurant and had lunch with Ricky.

I just got my listings done and that brings me to here where I am blogging to you as we speak or well as you read ;) I have some SUPER bright yellow, orange and coral items for you today!

WOW is this YELLOW or what?! It's nice and bright! I think this might actually be the color called "bright acid yellow." Ya think?! lol. So anyways, if you like BRIGHT this baby is for you! I am excited to offer some more of my Heart Burst rings! They are just SO much fun!
Next I have this fantastic dangle bracelet. It is super bright and sunshine beachy with TONS of dangles and sparkle!

New goodies, Designer's jewelry, Aussie fun, and packaging

Hello Friends!

I suppose you noticed that I was MIA again right? I spent the day with mom running errands and spent the evening with friends. :)

So... today I have some new goodies up in my shop for you! I have some fun green and purple items.

First off is another FLORBITAL!
The swirled center is grass green, with some aqua creased petals, a grape purple flower ring around the center and light orange sherbet dots. Yum!

Next I have some more of my Tangled Vine designed earrings! They are made with CiM's awesome Simply Berry purple and grass green swirls! These are nice and dark for those of you that perfer a more jewel toned color palette.
The Simply Berry appears a bit dark in these pictures, but it is a lovely purple with some more red tones to it. It is SO pretty!

Christy Howe came over to my studio yesterday and brought one of her lovely designs using some of my simple dotty spacers. Look at what she did! Isn't is amazing?! How fun! It is super colorful and can be worn with just about anything!
Look what I got at Walmart last night! Aren't these fantastic? I LOVE beachy stuff and especially stuff with hibiscus' and Hawaiian looking things :D I know I would love to get some goodies in this super cute bag!
And now I have to "fluff" while I am waiting for youtube to finish up loading my newest doggie video for you! Lol. I am not a good talk "fluffer". When I am out of info I am just done lol. So.. uh.. yeah... um... how 'bout those Royals.... lol! Ok so maybe I will just be done and wait for this video to finish. It's not like you are going to notice when you read this because you won't be waiting anyways! ;D
