Dealing with Negative+Mean-Spirited People by Mayi Carles

Hello friends!

I know, I'm not supposed to be working. I just hopped on to look at my blog and saw this post by Mayi Carles from heartmade blog. This post had such a wonderful message I felt I needed to share it with you all right after reading it.

With our recent plans to move I had hoped I would have received more positive energy on the subject, but that hasn't completely been the case. Now it hasn't been to the extent of the situation in her post, but the  post was very helpful in dealing with negative reactions.

Much love,

Genea

Yes, mean people suck. Esp when you tell them your exciting plans and in the interest of "helping" you they tell you all the ways your plans won't work, things you should worry about, etc etc.

I'm excited for you, and I know you guys will be GREAT!

Yeah, it's such a bummer :( You know it's not my online beady family, it's the ones closer to me :/

Thanks Amy! *hugs*

Can't believe that you aren't getting positive feedback. God answered your prayers. End of story. You'll love it out there. Anybody that can live near the ocean is given a gift in and of itself I think. The only thing better would be being by the mountains IMHO. I wish we would have made a move that we wanted when we were newly married and without kids. Follow your dreams!!!

Cindy- I know. Kinda sucky. I honestly think it's people's fears and that they don't feel worthy to accept their most amazing dreams as gifts.

That's what I'm sayin! It is finally God's time and I couldn't be more excited. He is usually making me wait and learn patience ;)

I know I will too. I feel like a piece of my soul is out there waiting to complete me(well aside from Ricky ;)

I do miss being by water growing up by a large great lake. Water is so soothing to the soul. I am a water sign as well so I need to be by water.

We will have mountains too! Mount Hood, I think?

I am, you can believe that!
