Where did the week go?

Hello friends!

Another week ZOOMED by. I can't believe it's Friday and almost November! Where have the days gone??? Each week I can't believe how busy I had been the week previous. I guess I just have to realize that now I am just always BUSY. I rocked out my last bit of testing and some special projects for a friend. Now that I have everything made I need to assemble it all. It has totally been a challenge. I will have to photograph and post my discoveries next week sometime.

So without further delay I will show off my small sampling of gooides this week. I am excited about these pieces because they are adjustable, interchangeable and convertible! How cool is that?!

NEW IN THE SHOP....
Flying Gobstopper- "Green Sky"- OMG I LOVE this bracelet. Yeah, for obvious reasons with the color, right, no, but really. I love the texture and of course the "floating" bead thing I like to do. I also love the charming wire-wrapped drop dangle hanging from the ring, silly, I know, but it's cool! The niftiest thing about this bracelet is that it can be combined with the included cord and made into a LONG necklace! Here you can see the bracelet attached to the necklace cord. Photographing in the sun makes things so pretty :D
Gobstopper Rings-"Green Horizon"- yep, it's the same colors. This happened because I made a bunch of stuff all at one time. It's just kinda easier that way ;) The neato thing about this necklace is that it can be worn with all three pendants, singally(is that a word? Well you know what I mean) or you can put the pendants on interchangeable lever back earring hooks and make them into asymmetrical earrings and a necklace. Sorry the earrings aren't included, but I'm sure you can come across a pair if you don't already own some ;)
Here you can see the pendants together or separate.
Gobstopper Rings-"Fuchsia"- Who doesn't love pink and purple? I know there are some of you women out there, but I must say I am totally shocked when you see them all together like this ;)
Well that wraps up my offerings for this week. I hope to get some more projects done and actually get some more bead sets and focal type things made. I am always amazed at the amount of time it takes to get things done so I will do my best to get some new things made and listed.

I hope you all are enjoying fall in your neck of the woods. Have a fantastic weekend and Happy Halloween!

Much love,

Genea

Just barely made it....

Hello Friends!

*Whew* I made it! It's been a long week. I have had trouble getting revved up this week. I feel like I have so many things to do that I am overwhelmed and don't want to do any of it. I think I am in serious need of a vacation. I totally wish I had one in the works! I am really glad I got to get some new things added to the shop. I hate being this totally poopalicious :(

I have a super busy weekend ahead too. Maybe some of the fun activities like dinner with our friend, Rosalind, the lampwork girls get together, and the Alice in Wonderland themed Halloween party we are attending on will help me relax and get that vacation feel!

I will leave you with the newest listing pictures and links and hopefully find you next week well rested and ready to rock it!"Ring of Fire"- One of my first most recent asymmetrical designs. This one started TONS of other awesome designs!
"Smoldering Embers"- had to make a matching necklace to go with "Ring of Fire". It just kinda came together when I was designing the bracelet.
"Fire Star"- I had made these beads into earrings before, but didn't like the original design. I couldn't get the beads hung the way I wanted until finding this fab colored leather. I am totally diggin' this newer design!

Flying Hula Hoop Waterfall "Leaf Splash"- made to match the "Leaf Splash" bracelet. I had this baby sitting on my mat forever just waiting to buy some more silver soft flex wire. Glad it finally got together!Flying Spiral "Leaf Splash"- Made to match the other jewelry with this name ;) I like making sets, what can I say?!

Ok well I'm off! I have much to do and I am fried from being at my computer all day! Have a great weekend! See you soon!

Much love,

Genea

Green Girl Garden beads and jewelry plus snow bird owl mixed-media set

Hello friends!

Glad to see you today! Wow, oh WOW do I have some amazing beads and jewelry to offer to you today! You will be excited to see some DARK COLORS too!

I have been SO busy I haven't had a chance to think. The last couple of weeks have been so hectic and stressful. I am excited to end my work weeks with adding some new items to the shop!

So to make my life less stressful, I will just be adding pictures with the links for you to visit the shop instead of typing up a description under them. I have to publish the information so many times from Etsy, to Facebook, to Twitter so I will just let the pictures do the talking here :D This little bit of time saving allows me to spend more time CREATING BEADS, which makes both of us happy :D By "us" I mean you and me ;) My head is too small for another personality!

"Snow Bird"- This is the dark set I was telling you about. Super dark Indigo Inky Blue called "Leaky Pen" by Creation is Messy. This glass is so dense and saturated it's very difficult to photograph, but I hope you will get the idea. Nothing can give you a better look at them than holding them in your hands. Full of glitter and magic.
Thanks to Evan Youngblood, my graphic design friend(evandesignsthings@gmail.com) for coming to my rescue and photographing this image to show the detail. Click on the link to see the zoom on Etsy.
"Green Girl's Garden Goodies"

"Green Girl's Garden" earrings.

"Green Girl's Garden" necklace.

"Green Girl's Garden" bracelet.

All I can say is how happy I am with these new designs and beads! As you know those are my very favorite colors for the "Green Girl's Garden" series. I wanted to offer some beads like the ones I made in my jewelry as well. I would love to see what you all are making :)

I really love the way the "Snow Bird" set turned out as well. I had been waiting awhile to do a mixed-media set offering and owls seem to be very popular. As you can see I got a jump start on the winter design too. Not that I want to rush fall, cause I'm all about it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
